Description
Leidos is hiring Systems Engineers in the Ft. Meade area, MD. This opportunity requires a candidate with an active Polygraph to be considered.
Program Summary
Leidos is a preferred subcontractor on a multi-year contract that develops, integrates deploys, and sustains collection systems. The work offers its team the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies.
Significant requirements include Mission Management, Operations, and Sustainment activities.
Job Summary
The System Engineer applies engineering principles throughout a system’s life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
BS in a related field and 10+ years of systems engineering experience OR 14+ years of related experience without a degree ; a MS and 8+ years of experience can also fulfill this qualification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with FORNSAT

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
