Leidos is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. Candidate's primary responsibility will be to support advanced Test Automation working with Java, Selenium, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) Cucumber framework in Java/Agile. environment.
Provide hands on expertise using the latest open-source products and best practices.
Specifically, the successful candidate will be a member of an Agile Team working with other Agile teams, System Architects, Test Architects, Developers, Database Engineers, DevOps, Implementation team, IT Infrastructure & Operations Team, and External System Owners to perform test automation for applications using open-source technologies and products.
All other duties as assigned or directed.
FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS ( Basic Qualifications )
Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience in a related field or bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in a related field or 11 years in lieu of a degree. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Proficient in using Selenium tool for web application and automating regression test cases (Selenium WebDriver).
Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum and Kanban Agile development process and ceremonies including scrums, planning events, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.
Strong communication and collaborative skills in providing technical direction and hands-on software development to include design, development, and testing.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
* Selected candidate must reside within two (2) hours of SSA Headquarters in Woodlawn, MD
Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site at least 2 days a week.*
FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE ( Required Skills )
These skills will help you succeed in this position:
Experience developing test scripts to implement Features, Test Scenarios and Step-Definition for BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber (Gherkins format) and using customized test automation framework.
Experience developing Selenium automation framework using HP ALM, Junit/TestNG frameworks and developing Maven targets to execute automation suites.
Experience with JAVA, JavaScript-based technologies, such as nodejs, angular.js etc.
HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)
Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
Experience with Jenkins Auto jobs, Stash / Bitbucket.
Experience in configuring execution of automated regressions suite using Jenkins CI\CD pipeline.
Experience maintaining resources in configuration management tools, such as GitHub/SVN repository.
Experience with Version One management tool.
Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Experience debugging Automation test results.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
