Leidos Senior Distribution Engineer in Cleveland, Ohio
Currently, we have an opportunity for a Senior Distribution Engineer for electric utility engineering. This position will be working with our growing Power Distribution Engineering team. This role will likely require leading other distribution engineers, oversight and QA/QC of both simple and complex engineering projects, working directly with clients, and ensuring the Leidos reputation of high quality is maintained.
This REMOTE position can be filled by a candidate residing in the U.S.
Background must haves
Associates Of Science (preferably engineering) from an accredited college or university and 10+ years of relevant experience OR a Bachelors Of Science (preferably engineering) and 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's and 6+ year of relevant experience. Bachelors degree or higher is preferred. Relevant experience is either working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering.
Execution of distribution projects from kickoff through design approved
Experience with the NESC and/or CA GO95
Nice to haves
Experience providing estimated costs, development of a BOM, calculating the CIAC
Experience with design tools such as Pole Foreman, O-Calc, SPIDAcalc
Experience with Joint Use and Colocation projects
Experience with 5 kV to 15 kV voltage conversion projects
Strong communication skills, written and interpersonal communications skills and supporting of customer advocacy
Collaborative and inclusive of individuals of diverse backgrounds and geographic locations
Ability to work with limited supervision

Pay Range:Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00
