Leidos Ground Control Station Maintenance Manager in Fort Walton Beach, Florida

The Leidos Defense Group has an opening for a Ground Control Station Maintenance Manager supporting the RPA Operations Center program at Hurlburt Field Florida

Job Summary

This position will manage the MQ9 RPA maintenance production for the Hurlburt RPA operations center facility. Primary responsibility is to provide oversight for 24/7/365 technical support to multiple program of record ground control stations and manage all aspects of organizational level maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all facets of the MQ9 RPA maintenance on the Hurlburt site

  • Provide technical expertise to customers related to capabilities and limitations of assigned ground control stations

  • Manage utilization of assets to ensure assets are available to meet the daily flying schedule requirements

  • Coordinate maintenance actions with other contractors and depot personnel Conduct quality control checks

  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports

  • Attend daily maintenance meetings

  • Coordinate maintenance actions with CE power production as needed

  • Coordinate with the IT Lead, System Administrators, and Network Administrators for maintenance involving the larger RPA infrastructure

  • Oversee the COMSEC account management; monitor daily statusing of assigned assets

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and 5+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience. Additionally years of experience may be considered in ileum of a degree

  • 2 + years experience supervising or leading teams or projects

  • Military C4ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communication, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) experience is required

  • Must have experience applying policies and procedures from Air Force Instruction 21-101 to aircraft system maintenance

  • Excellent communication skills in team environments and exceptional customer service skills are mandatory

  • Ability to lead a team of technicians and provide superior support to a government customer is mandatory

  • Must have a current Top Secret SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • US Air Force experience in an aircraft maintenance production position and operational experience with Air Force RPA’s

  • Military or civilian DOD experience with Air Operations and training in an Information Technologies field

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
