Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Software Developer / Engineer to join a talented team within the RF Systems Portfolio. You will be a part of a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and analysts supporting advanced radar systems research and development in a high-fidelity modeling and simulation environment.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role you will support the radar back-end software development, digital signal processing, distributed micro-service / open architecture development, high-fidelity modeling and simulation, and algorithm prototyping.

Candidate will support software design, integration, testing, and analysis activities.

Design, develop, optimize, test, deploy, and maintain software as a part of small teams leveraging Agile methods in a DevOps environment.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.

Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated performance in the design, development, and testing of digital radar models and simulations.

Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of concepts including object-oriented design, data structures, parallel algorithm development, distributed architecture development, and networking.

Candidates must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Master of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
