Description
Leidos Dynetics is seeking a Surface Mount Technology / X-Ray Technician to join a diverse team that to supports assembly of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidate will support operation of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line building printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA’s).
Primary Responsibilities
This position involves operation of SMT equipment including solder paste screen printing, solder paste inspection, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, post reflow inspection, and x-ray. In addition to equipment operation the job will involve review of PCBA’s using microscopes and x-ray according to IPC- A-610 inspection requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Candidatemust have HighSchooldiploma/GEDwith 2yearsofrelevantexperienceworkingina team environment.
CandidatemustbeaUSCitizenandpossess(andbeabletomaintain)aFinalSecretClearanceORmeetthe eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are a plus:
AchievedJ-STD-001and IPC-610soldering certificationwithinthelast5years.
ExperienceoperatingSMTequipmentlikeDEKscreenprinter,ASMpartplacement,KohYoungSolder Paste and AOI experience.
ExperiencesolderingSMTandThru-hole components.
ExperienceusingX-rayand microscopesforinspectionofPCBA’s.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $37,050.00 - $66,975.00
