Leidos Sr CMS Certification Business Analyst in Remote, United States

Description

The Leidos Health and Civil Sector is seeking a Senior CMS Certification Business Analyst, contingent upon contract award, to support a state Medicaid program that will assist the State in modernizing their Medicaid Enterprise System architecture with a modular System Integration Platform (SIP) that provides flexible system integration services. The ideal candidate must be a strong business analysist with lead CMS certification activities, energetic and self-motivated, able to guide and mentor technical professionals, and with a value-driven and customer-centric mindset.

Role is telework role with 10% travel estimated to New Hampshire

Candidate MUST be US Citizen or US Person currently residing in the United States

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works with stakeholders, such as business leaders, subject matter experts, and module vendors, to oversee and coordinate the CMS certification activities for Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) modules.

  • Serve as expert in current CMS Certification requirements and processes for Medicaid module implementation and integration projects.

  • Coordinate system certification efforts including Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) and Certification Review (CR) with stakeholders for Medicaid modules.

  • Monitor outcomes, metrics and overall systems for certification readiness.

  • Review certification related processes and artifacts.

  • Review project artifacts/deliverables throughout the system development life cycle for quality, compliance, and completeness, document observations and findings using project team processes and standards.

  • Work with state business staff and vendors to support the evaluation of key system changes, projects, and processes to help the client achieve organizational goals.

  • Facilitates communication between stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is on the same page regarding CMS certification status, planning, and timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience leading CMS certification activities.

  • Experience with Federal Public Health system certifications.

  • Experience with Streamlined Modular Certification (SMC).

  • Experience with recent version of the CMS the Operational Report Workbook.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience collaborating with customers to define and prioritize activities for CMS certification of MES module projects.

  • Monitor and confirm alignment of work plans and schedules.

  • Experience working with MES vendors.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of development process and implementation rhythms.

  • Strong communication and collaborative skills in providing technical direction and hands-on software requirements development including design.

  • Ability to communicate with leadership on progress, status, and risks about the project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Healthcare System implementations.

  • Project Management certification.

  • Knowledge of CMS operational reporting

  • Knowledge of or experience with Advanced Planning Documents

  • Experience translating Federal and State regulations into working requirements that are actionable by technical teams.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
