We are in search of a FEDSIM Slide Architect to join our Growth Office Capture Operations and Excellence (CO&E) FEDSIM Center of Excellence organization located in Reston, VA. As a core member of the Growth Office CO&E team, you will play a valuable part in supporting proposals on a wide range of FEDSIM acquisition-model proposals across the enterprise.

THE MISSION

The FEDSIM Slide Architect is a core member of capture and proposal teams and supports developing content for oral presentations including, slide outlines, slide themes, and slide development as part of the proposal solution development process. They collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and graphic artists to integrate content into oral presentations effectively. The FEDSIM Slide Architect develops win themes, strengths, features, benefits, discriminators, and proof points as content is refined during the proposal process. Additionally, documenting the standard operating process and procedures on developing the orals presentation efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead orals slide development including integrating the material provided by the capture team and Solution Architects

  • Interpret technical and management requirements of Federal Government solicitations

  • Assess and ensure compelling, complete, and compliant proposal responses reflect win strategy and align to evaluation factors

  • Enhance and contribute to the FEDSIM CoE orals development playbook and standard operating procedures

  • Guide and mentor content contributors; operations personnel, SMEs, KPs, Consultants, Teaming Partners, Solution Architects, and graphics artists to develop compelling and persuasive slide content.

  • Integrate value-based data points, proof points, performance metrics from both Leidos and teammates.

  • Actively work with Key Personnel on slide messages and development.

  • Lead and manage the overall proposal development process from Pre-Proposal Phase through Post Proposal Phase for the orals presentation

  • Participate in proposal development team planning and execution.

  • Review solicitation requirements.

  • Ensure win strategy, technical solution, win themes, discriminators, compliance, and clear understanding of the requirements are well-articulated and consistent throughout final orals presentation

  • Collaborate with leadership, business areas, BD personnel, stakeholders, partners, and subject matter experts.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of related experience in capture proposal, and solution development

  • Deep understanding of, and experience with FEDSIM solicitations

  • Experience leading oral presentation development.

  • Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute activities

  • Evidence of a successful track record of high quality, high scoring proposals

  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work to meet deadlines

  • Ability to develop and/or assist technical and capture personnel in developing compelling themes, discriminators, and messaging.

  • Ability to work and execute a quick reaction process and manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to influence constructively and interact at the highest levels of the corporate structure

  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and business acumen.

  • Willingness to travel, as necessary

  • Ability to work well both in a team and independently.

  • Knowledge of marketing, editing, graphic design, and other relevant proposal best practices

  • Ability to manage geographically disparate teams

  • Ability to create original content using interview and research techniques.

  • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
